Each year it costs almost a million dollars to provide the needed meals and support services to the elderly and low-income disabled adults of Strafford County. Part of these funds come from grants we receive from NH Department of Health & Human Services - Bureau of Elderly & Adult Services, which we are very grateful to recieve.
However we still must raise about $200,000 each year in addition to our DHHS grants and that is where so many of you have helped. Whether it is our clientele's donations, individual donations, County support, or a coporate sponsorship every dollar is important and so deeply appreciated.
Whether your donation was a $1 or $10,000, please know that it helped us help others and we are VERY, VERY THANKFUL FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
The Walmart Foundation has been actively aiding in the fight against hunger. We are grateful they selected us for an award this year and will be using this grant towards providing meals in Strafford County.
SNMOW was selected for a grant from the Thomas W. Haas Fund by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. This grant is also being used towards providing meals to Strafford County residents.
